O Design de Audiência surgiu há alguns anos como uma ferramenta criativa para explorar possíveis conexões entre filmes e audiências durante as etapas de promoção. Nesse momento o foco dos debates era a produção transmídia e as plataformas de streaming ainda não haviam começado a produzir originals. Desde então o mercado tem passado por grandes transformações e a pergunta agora é, como o Design de Audiência deve acompanhar essa evolução?
Audience Design emerged several years ago as a creative mindset to explore stronger connections between films and audiences during promotional stages. It was the moment where the main conversation was about transmedia and streaming platforms didn’t have originals. A lot has changed since then, and amid an evolving market, what should Audience Design become?

Greta was born and raised in Venice, Italy, and she currently works as junior producer for Vivo Film, an award-winning independent production company based in Rome. She has also been working in the field of Audience Design for years, collaborating with TorinoFilmLab in numerous projects, including the marketing strategies of the multi-award winning The Wound (John Trengove, 2017), the Locarno Film Festival’s winner A Land imagined (Yeo Siew Hua, 2018) and holding workshops in São Paulo (Brazil) and Beirut (Lebanon). She pursued a degree in English and Film Studies in Scotland and a master in Film Studies at Columbia University, New York, where she lived for 3 years. In NY she mainly worked for Film Presence, specializing in strategic outreach and crowdfunding campaigns for which she researched potential audiences and contacted key associations for the promotion of different films, ranging from documentaries (Citizenfour) to fiction (Miles ahead).
Founder and co-director of Pacífica Grey, a project focused on the alternative production, distribution and exhibition of independent cinema in Central America, bringing to the region the work of industry talents such as Ruben Östlund, Agnès Varda and Jim Jarmusch. He also works with cultural management, advising the development of training and industry spaces for Fundo Cinergia. He was artistic director of the Costa Rica International Film Festival from 2015 to 2017, currently serves as program advisor for the IDFA Festival and collaborates as a tutor at institutions such as Torino Film Lab and Locarno Filmmakers Academy. He is the producer of Cascos indomables (TIFF 2018) and Lucía en el limbo (Cannes Critics Week 2019), and is co-producing Nathalie Álvarez’s debut film Clara sola, with support from the World Cinema Fund, Hubert Bals, Swedish Film Institute, among others.
